Designing Roomly gave me the opportunity to work on a real-world challenge within the hospitality industry optimizing hotel housekeeping operations. From ideation to final UI, I learned how to translate complex workflows into a clean, user-friendly system. One of the biggest takeaways was designing for multiple user roles, such as attendants, supervisors, and managers, each needing tailored dashboards and tools. Collaborating with a diverse team helped me improve both my communication and design system thinking.

This project also pushed me to dive deeper into data visualization and smart scheduling UX, ensuring the system not only looked good but improved efficiency in a measurable way. I realized how important it is to build clarity and trust in task-based environments, where timing and workload balance really matter. Going forward, I’d love to refine the prototype further through usability testing and possibly explore AI integration to enhance task prediction and room prioritization.
